Merry Cranberry

Anything with a berry as its suffix sounds yum doesn’t it? Like cranberry, blueberry, strawberry, raspberry and so on. Cranberry is my personal favorite and I also have a carton of cranberry juice in my refrigerator. I loved it for its mouth ravishing flavor but only recently did I find out that flavor was a trick played on us, when actually the purpose for its existence was something else. So, I am going to tell you what that “something” is but make sure you get a carton of cranberry juice or in the fruit form itself as soon as you are done with reading this.


Cranberries are sour to taste and hence, you know that it is rich in vitamin C, don’t you? Vitamin C is one of the most important vitamin for your body because it is the protection to your immune system.

  1. They contain antioxidants and hence could delay aging. Antioxidants are also known for their capability of curing cancers, so drink crans and forget cancer!
  2. Cranberry have antibacterial properties and experts say that it is capable to cure Helicobacter pylori infections, a bacterium that can cause stomach ulcers and plague.
  3. Having cranberries in your diet not only makes it yum and healthy but also helps in preventing muscular degeneration and other age-related problems
  4. The most important reason behind the need for cranberry in your diet is to prevent and treat UTI (urinary tract infections).

So, jump into a store and grab some cranberry juice to discover a healthier you!
