Round brinjal grilled with cheese. Can be served as starter or a side dish.
- 100grams of makai ka atta (cornmeal)
- Half tsp chilli powder
- One tsp dried oregano
- 1 brinjal, cut into round pieces
In a dish combine atta, chilli powder, oregano and salt. Coat each brinjal slice in this mixture until coated on both the side. Heat a small layer of oil in a large frying pan. When the oil is hot arrange a layer of brinjal rounds in the oil and fry cover for 2 to 3 minutes. Flip the rounds over and fry until golden brown (if u want to grill) Cook the brinjal rounds under a grill on a baking tray lightly greased with oil turning over halfway for both the sides
