Banana Chips. Well its different that without this Ona Sadhya is incomplete; what bothers us more is without banana chips, a lot of us would have gone hungry. Its not a one time delicacy but a staple that adds taste to evening teas, bland khichdi, pathetic sandwiches and mellow moods.
Easy to make, try this simple banana chips recipe and you’ll be pleasantly surprised!
Ingredients:
- Ripe Bananas: cut in rounds, about 2 cups
- Coconut oil: about 250 ml
- Turmeric powder:1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
Procedure:
- Heat oil till smoking. Fry bananas. When half done, add turmeric.
- Strain, add salt and enjoy.
Additional: You can also add chilly powder and chat masala to it.
