Cabbage curry for Roti

A simple dry cabbage curry.

Ingredients:

  • Chopped Cabbage-1/2 kg.
  • Peas-100 gms(Optional).
  • Oil-1 spoon.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Turmeric-1/4 tea spoon.
  • Ani seed-1/2 tea spoon.

To grind:

  • Cloves-2,
  • Pepper-5,
  • Red chilli-2,
  • Bay leaves-1,
  • Cumin-1/2 tsp.

Procedure:

  • In a pan heat the oil and add the ani seeds,the grinded  powder
  • ,chopped cabbage,peas,turmeric powder and mix it well.Leave this mixture for 2 minutes.Then add the required amount of salt and
  • mix it well and switch off the flame and cover the pan for about 1 min.In a microwave safe bowl keep this curry for about
  • 5-7 min(high).This can be served with pulka or roti.
