Sweet Dosa

I had first tasted this at work when a colleague of mine had got this in her lunch box. It tasted awesome and I was surprised how effortless it is to make this. This can be a wonderful breakfast recipe for people who have to make, eat breakfast and rush to work. Though it’s a sweet dosa, it’s not as sweet as a sweet dish and can be plainly eaten.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • ½ cup jaggery
  • ½ cup grated coconut
  • 5-6 cardamom powder (optional)
  • ghee

Method

  • Add jaggery to a cup of water in a vessel on a stove and keep stirring till completely
    dissolved.
  • Keep it down and when little warm add wheat flour, coconut and elaichi powder.
Mix everything to a smooth paste of Dosa batter consistency.
  • Heat the pan and spread the batter a little thick and pour ghee on top. Cook till both sides till light red.

Serve Hot

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Serves: 4
