Deep Fried Baby Potatoes

Relax. Give your self a breather and grab some cooler. There is still some time for diwali. What a rush and a tight schedule it was, these 10 days of Durga puja and Navratri were. Poor stomach literally wants to climb a ladder down from the food binging mode and take it easy until the classic Diwali hogging phase.

Hence, we decided to go with some very light pan fried potatoes for lunch. Add your choice of breads or shh..a glass of port if you want, but deep fried potatoes remains constant for the menu- it also requires very little ingredients and you can literally throw them in the pan, the Julia Child way! Enjoy this food for the lazies.

Ingredients

  • Baby potatoes, cut into slice
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Sage: 1 tsp
  • Olive oil: 2tbsp

Procedure

Heat olive oil in a wok. Rub the potatoes with salt and pepper. Cover fry them in medium to high heat for about 5-7 minutes. Sprinkle sage and cover.

Serve hot.
