Pumpkin Cake Recipe with cream cheese frosting

What’s Halloween without a little tiny weeny darling pumpkin? Nothing right? So after a chunk of delicious bloodly looking cheese cake, here’s the other temptation. Let’s sink our teeth in these fleshy pumpkins…ah well, pumpkin cake. all the same..all the same!Ingredients:

  • All purpose flour: 1 cup
  • Butter: 1/2 cup
  • Baking powder: 1 tsp
  • Eggs: 2
  • Grated pumpkin: 1/2 cup
  • Nutmeg: 1 teaspoon
  • Vanilla Extract: 1 tsp + 1/2 tsp for icing
  • Castor sugar: 3/4th cup
  • Cream cheese: 1/2 cup
  • Confectioners sugar: 3/4th cup


Mix flour, nutmeg powder and baking powder in a bowl.

in a separate bowl, cream sugar and butter. Beat in the eggs gradually. Fold in vanilla.

Now mix the dry ingredients to the wet. beat well with a fork and finally add the grated pumpkin.

Bake in a greased pan for 15-20 minutes in 200.


Icing procedure

Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla well.

Ice on cake when completely cooled.
